  • How do you make your stickers?
I have an entire blog explaining my process for making stickers at home. It is a process that requires learning a variety of skills, and is not for the faint of heart, but if you are determined, it can be very rewarding. Read my blog, How to Make Stickers, to see if stickers are the right choice for you!
  • What printer do you use?
I use an Epson Ecotank 7750. These are awesome, in my opinion! They are inkjet printers with refillable ink cartridges, and they print nice, bright colors for relatively cheap. Obviously, ink still costs money. My only complaint is that mine seemed to use too much black ink, creating a mess inside the printer and on some of my prints. It was a huge headache because I couldn't find a fix online. It seemed to only happen when selecting the "gloss" paper setting, so I simply switched to using only "matte" paper settings, and that fixed the issue. It also hasn't changed the quality of the prints, despite still printing on gloss photo paper.
  • Will you make me something?
Absolutely! My prices range from $20-$100. I make icons, portraits, and full body character art. I also do portraits in realism, and can do graphic design work such as designing logos, info graphics, business cards, banners, and headers. I also have experience making Twitch and Discord emotes, including animated emotes. My work is all digital. You will receive your order in .PNG format (except for animated emotes), but I also offer print services with additional fees and shipping. For even more info, visit my commission page here.
  • Will you make me something for free?
Unfortunately, I can't do this. Drawing and designing are my job. I don't do this strictly for fun. In the art community, it is heavily advised never to ask for free artwork. It's like a slap in the face for artists. Art is a skill that takes many years of hard work to learn, much like attending college to learn a profession. If you already know of a way to obtain free art, it is most likely created by someone who makes their money another way. It could also be stolen or created by an AI program that also steals images from hard working artists. Please never ask an artist for free art, much like you would never ask hairdresser for a free haircut. We both learned our trade in order to make a living off of it, and we expect you to pay for our services. If you do choose to obtain free art from an AI program, please remember that you are supporting a system that promotes stealing the livelihood of extremely hardworking artists. If you can't afford to hire an artist, we all understand because we've been there. We try to provide content, such as the watermarked images and content feeds you see on our social media, for you to enjoy for free. I wish you the best of luck in finding something that fits your art budget.
  • What is your Turn Around Time (TAT)?
My turn around time just depends on how many commission orders I have, how many changes clients request, and any unexpected life events. It can be as short as one week, or as long as a couple of months. My clients with active commission orders will be updated periodically via text or email, and notified when they are at the top of my queue. Interested clients with hard deadlines should always check my current TAT before ordering. Just shoot me an email to ask. I am happy to speak with other clients about rearranging my queue, but ultimately, commissions are first come, first serve. Those waiting in the commission queue can check their status here.
  • Do you make your own comics?
I do not, but I have before. Here are some reasons I don't make comics. -Because I'm not a writer -Because I don't want to hire a writer -Because they take a ton of time and effort -Because I prefer to spend my time and effort elsewhere -Because that's not the only type of art out there -Because I would have no time to do what I enjoy, resulting in burnout -Because I can't be motivated or inspired by something I don't enjoy I do what I do to enjoy my work, and prefer not to put immense time and effort into something that I wasn't meant to do. For the record, I actually have experience drawing comics, on a schedule, for a company, and I know it is not for me. I do have a few comics here and there that you will see, but they are always single pieces, as I do not care to spend my time fleshing out an entire cast of characters with a storyline. They are just things I found funny and needed to draw them. Mad respect to those who do enjoy drawing and writing comics. It's not for me, but somebody has to write and illustrate the comics I read! Take a minute to thank your favorite comic artists, because they work super hard to bring you your favorite stories and characters. With that said, if someone wants to hire me to draw their comics, that is slightly different. I will gladly do so, but I charge by the panel.
  • Will you draw for my comic?
Sure! I require payment upfront for my time, though, as well as my name clearly displayed, and 20% of any profit resulting directly from the use of my art. I don't ask this to make your life hard. This is a minimum requirement to hire most comic artists, as it is a ton of work.
